When you make a mistake, do you cover up with your staff? The Lord taught "...Do not bear false witness..." (Luke 18:20, NASB). As a boss, when you make a mistake, you may want to not confess to your staff. However, they always know. Instead, when you are wrong, admit it and apologize if necessary. When you admit your faults, staff will rally around you to overcome the obstacle, and will be more receptive to correction from you in the future. Your esteem will increase with staff with your honesty. Be truthful with staff, and your leadership will grow. |
